Matt started his journey in the transport industry in 1999 as a graduate trainee where he learned the ropes. From here, Matt became a Coach Driver in Milton Keynes, where he worked his way up the ranks until he was planning routes for private buses across the Milton Keynes area. In 2014, Matt and Tim purchased their first company, where they specialised in transport for airports in London and the South East of England. After turning this company around, in 2017, they decided to sell up, and from here Matt and Tim started The Ready Group with the purchase of Readybus - and the rest is history. 

Matt is also a dad to two boys and is passionate about raising money for The Autistic Society by doing 100km bike rides through London. Matt plays the drums in a band in his spare time and enjoys following Formula One around the world when he gets the chance.

Tim is one of our Managing Directors here at The Ready Group, but he was not always in the transport business! Tim was actually a professional cricket player for 10 years, playing at Lords for Middlesex County Cricket Club! 

Since ending his successful cricket career, Tim has spent the past 23 years in the coach transportation industry, working alongside his business partner, Matt, in various business ventures since 2008. The pair have a combined 45 years of experience in the transport industry, both with humble beginnings, and they really do know the industry inside out.

Dave joined us at The Ready Group in April 2022. However, having previously worked alongside Managing Directors, Matt and Tim, Dave quickly became right at home in this role. Dave started his career in the coach industry in 1999, first as a Coach Driver himself! Dave is very familiar with airport coach transport solutions, having worked at Gatwick and Heathrow, working his way up to Operations Manager in his time here. Apart from working, Dave is also a professionally trained Chef and still very much enjoys cooking in his free time!

Danny recently joined The Ready Group team in 2021. Danny became an Engineer after leaving school at 16 and started working as an Engineering Manager for bus transport services. In 2016, Danny decided to leave the engineering side of transport and move into compliance and operations of coach transport. Aside from work, Danny enjoys travelling and spending time with his dog.

Brian began his professional career having spent time studying IT, leading him to work in financial services. Brian later changed his mind and accepted a position as a Global Tour Operator at Gullivers Travel Associates. After spending 20 years here and travelling around the world (7 times!), Brian was introduced to the transport industry and began working at Heathrow alongside Matt and Tim in 2009.

Using his international expertise, he is able to bring his knowledge of international markets to The Ready Group. Brian takes pride in making sure that every passenger served by The Ready Group gets the best service possible.

Michelle has been in the marketing industry for over 20 years, having worked with various businesses, including BP and Travis Perkins! Michelle decided to do her qualification with the Chartered Institute of Marketing and has not looked back since. Michelle began working for The Ready Group in 2018 alongside her husband and Managing Director Matt - The Ready Group is truly a family-run business! Other than working around the clock, Michelle is an avid wine and food fanatic, as well as a huge fan of live music.
